Terms

The Dan Stammen Scholarship Program consists of two scholarships which will be awarded to applicants that meet the eligibility requirements and that write the most compelling essays based on the essay guidelines (Link to scholarship page). The scholarship for first place is $1,500 USD and the scholarship for second place is $1,000 USD.

The deadline for submissions is September 3, 2019. Any applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

To be eligible, applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent U.S. residents enrolled or accepted to a U.S. post-secondary institution. Applicants must submit proof of acceptance or enrolment. Failure to provide adequate documentation will result in disqualification.

Only successful applicants of the Dan Stammen Scholarship Program will be contacted. The scholarship payment will be made directly to the student to be used toward tuition and education-related expenses.

Conditions

By entering your application for consideration for the Dan Stammen Scholarship Program, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The decisions of the scholarship program judges shall be deemed final, conclusive, and binding in all matters.

You certify that all the information provided on the application form and in all the accompanying documents is true, accurate, and complete to the best of your knowledge. You understand that the provision of false information will render you ineligible for this scholarship.

Any personal and private information provided in applications will not be shared. The selection committee will only use the information provided for purposes of evaluating your application.

The Dan Stammen Scholarship Program will not discriminate based on age, race, religion, disability, or sexuality.
